I first saw Nicks work in 2012 as was very impressed. As I was opening a Gym specialising Greek Martial Arts I commissioned him to do all the art work including a large mural. The work was amazing. People are always commenting and taking photographs of my walls. Whenever I host a competition or event, everyone wants to take a selfie. The Fight Lab recommends Nick to any business wanting to stand out.

Here at The SouvLucky Country, we wanted a large mural painting in our restaurant wall that would make a statement and vibrantly represent the heritage and history of our restaurant’s Greek cuisine, after almost giving up with our search online for references and meeting other artists we met with Nick who immediately understood our brief , he was patient and turned our vision into the masterpiece we and our customers love to this day. As an art competition artist , exhibitor and having won the Hunters Hill Art prize twice ( Margret Ollie also won it twice) and other prizes I have an informed opinion about Niko Bonovas artist and his work.

Niko was born as an artist, undoubtedly a natural talent. He is a superb draftsman and self-taught not being corrupted by art theories. He has received many commissions for murals and is a master of scale design , line and colour which complete the ambiance for the restaurants , prestigious residences and gymnasiums commissions he receives.He is very versatile in his work as can paint a classical Hellenic theme to modernism modern movement. Niko is an emerging artist that will continue to develop his artist unique expression.
